The handsome exterior of our Napa Valley inn is modeled after the 16th Century country manors of Shakespeare’s day… a cedar shingle mansion with herringbone brick panels, two pronounced dormers, and a medieval turret prominently poised on four Corinthian columns.
A vestibule filled with delightful antiques will invite you into our beautiful Napa bed and breakfast. The first flight of stairs leads you into the main parlor, an impressive Tudor hall with high-coffered ceilings and walls sheathed in rich redwood paneling. A gracious bay window occupies the Western wall of this rather regal Napa Valley bed and breakfast, creating a cozy lounging area and providing ample day-light … The dining room is to the East, and, with elegant redwood dining table and chairs and a glimmering chandelier, is perhaps the most magnificent room in the house.
A gracefully curved redwood staircase winds its way to a mezzanine in the lower tower? Enjoy a magnificent view of the front garden from the semi-circular sitting area? Ken and Susie are the owners and your hosts. They have a passion for making your stay relaxing and delightfully memorable in this comfortable Shakespearean home. Prior to becoming innkeepers, Susie ran a culinary school and Ken was the VP of Marketing for semiconductor firms. They both came from large families, so having lots of guests around is natural for them. Ken and Susie welcome you to the Cedar Gables Inn. Let them attend to your every need.
